The Maple Corner Woodworks beds are designed with a superb platform, eliminating the need for a box spring (although can be made in that style). All beds feature ten wide slats that securely interlock with hardwood dowels on the side rails, and side rails are joined to the head and footboards with heavy-duty cast hangers. King and California King sizes include center-reinforced support via a solid hardwood piece that attaches to the head and foot boards with drop-in hardware, providing full under-bed access without a center leg.
